One afternoon in 2009, Doug “accidentally“ tossed his Frisbee toward Claire on Folly Beach. They began dating soon after, and three and a half years later, Doug proposed on Folly near the same spot where they met. The James Island pair were married at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church before celebrating with a reception at the Francis Marion Hotel.
